Cheers to 2012!

I can hardly believe it's already time to wrap up 2012. Wow, what a year! 2012 was my first full year for LBE and oh my, was it a good one! I launched my new branding and website, worked with lots of amazing couples in planning and coordinating their big days (there are so many weddings I haven't shared yet but will be posting very soon!), planned rehearsal dinners, baby showers, attended industry events and showcases, and I was honored to have several editorial features. Here is a peek at all the goodness of 2012.

Marissa and Matt, one special couple who is near and dear to me (along with their wonderful families), were my first wedding of the year, in March. Marissa has a heart of gold and this couple's love for one another is such a beautiful thing to see.

Their wedding was my first ever feature on Style Me Pretty (I was beyond ecstatic!)

Next up was Rachel and Jake, another wonderful couple with amazing families. This couple will always be special to me because they were my very first official booking at LBE. We met last year and hit it off immediately! I was lucky enough to work with Rachel's sister, Mary, on her wedding this year too; you'll see them in a minute.

April brought Christina and Dan's gorgeous farm wedding in Alpharetta. Christina is a professional graphic designer and artist, and I absolutely love that she designed and crafted everything herself for their special day.

Their wedding was also featured on Style Me Pretty earlier this year. (another ecstatic moment for me!)

Then came Carrie and Devon's beautiful Piedmont Park wedding. These two are just the sweetest and their love for one another is infectious. I had a blast planning with them and was so excited to see everything come together so perfectly for their special day.

Stephanie and Trevor were next with an intimate June wedding. These two got married outdoors on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year but they were troopers and handled it with such grace. I love that!

A few months later came Melinda and Jim. This wedding was one of my favorites of the year. Melinda wanted an organic/botanical style wedding and that is exactly what we created. It was filled with a million hand-crafted details and lots and lots of love. We had so much fun planning too, mostly fueled by one of our mutual loves, Starbucks. :)

October was a whirlwind month and it started off in the North Georgia mountains for JoAnna and Jim's big day. Their wedding was held at a beautiful vineyard, which was the perfect backdrop for their fall-inspired rustic affair.

Next up was another one of my favorites, Stephanie and Nathan's wedding. Oh, how I loved this one. The couple, the color palette, the venue, the details, I could go on and on. We planned and designed for nearly a year and it was all so worth it. These two really know how to throw a party, fun doesn't begin to describe it! I can't wait to share more of this one.

Katie and Bryan's wedding wrapped up October and this gorgeous couple had a stunning fall-inspired wedding with a twist. Katie wanted fall colors but she has a love for the tropics, so we incorporated a variety of unique flowers with amazing textures to tie it all together. Needless to say, it was beautiful!

My last wedding of the year came in November with Mary and Adam. Mary is the sister of another fabulous 2012 bride, Rachel (see above). This sweet, sweet couple had a beautiful rustic/vintage style wedding and I loved every minute of it. It was so special to end my year with a family that I began it with. Such a great way to end an amazing year!

It was so much fun to reflect back on all of these beautiful weddings that I had the immense joy of being a part of this year. Thank you to all of my wonderful couples (past and present) and their families! Also, thank you to the amazing vendors that I have worked with this year. I couldn't do it without you and I'm looking forward to many more collaborations in 2013!

Cheers to the new year!
